I just returned from an incredible week in Panama, where I had the privilege of participating in an intensive Conservation Agriculture Training sponsored by Equipping Farmers.
This program brought together farmers, trainers, and agricultural experts to explore practices that reduce environmental impact while boosting productivity. From soil health and crop rotation techniques to water conservation strategies, every session underscored the urgent need for sustainable farming systems.
One of the most rewarding aspects of this training was engaging directly with farmers and hearing their perspectives on the challenges they face daily. It reinforced the importance of sharing knowledge and empowering local communities with tools they can adapt to their unique contexts.
